blargh, i definitely overdid it yesterday.
the banquet and the after-dinner venue was great. sorta.
food was really good, though i think a lot of felt over dressed for the occasion. i was feeling too naked for half the time.
peter showed up toward the end! what a great surprise!!
lawyer and optometry pick up lines made dinner ridiculously hilarious.
the slide show was so sad.. and so well made. ayano, you did a great job, but seriously.. let others help you more, yeah?
the seniors were all getting really teary eyed reading the scrapbook. mission accomplished, kids!
after all the gifts were handed out, the seniors started talking about the future.. and it was getting really quite.. so we started drinking. poor excuse, but we had like boxes of booze in my kitchen damnit.
a chandelier ended up broken, but no one was hurt.. thank goodness.
i don't remember how i ended up so darn smashed and throwing up in the kitchen sink. gross. i also remember hugging diana for a long period of time. i don't remember if i saw everyone off.. i highly doubt it. chalk up another one for being a bad host.
woke up today too late to go to the biochem TA session.. :/
had too bad of a nausea to keep sleeping so got up to puke and rehydrate.
so after, about 4 trip to the toilet for 4 successful bile-rific vomiting, neosporin and band-aid for my cigarette burn, 3 cups of water, two 10 minute naps, a bowl of chicken soup, half slice of bread and coyote ugly.. i'm back to being a normal functioning human being.
time to study til my eyes bleed.
i think i should stop doing these footnotes...

I wasn't getting teary-eyed. Real men don't cry. Real men just get angry. Rage is the only emotion that real men know.
...but seriously, thanks for doing all that stuff for us. It's so much more than you needed to do, and I am honored to have friends like you in taiko. Also, you were a fantastic host, so don't even worry about it.
