that weird sounding title has its reasons.
i partly blame the morning radio shows, Juno and l&l's food right before a nap for this wonky dream and conjured up that wonky phrase.
while driving to the class, a lady on the radio said that her job was selling dallas texas... ooookay?
i watched Juno online on monday...
and alex was teaching about hawaiian music in class today. i was craving l&l's all day.
i was sleepy around 4pm so i took a nap til now.
got all that??
okay, dream sequence...
i don't remember the beginning.. by this i don't remember how it started.. it's getting kinda blurry in my head as is.
anyways, so i end up going to the book store to get something.. unconventional. i was standing in line in a part of price center that looked so unfamiliar yet i knew what i was doing. it was dark and crowded, with people buying things and clerks calling out to people in line and all that jazz. i stood in line and was waiting when the lady called my name.. i was at the time turned around, so i was surprised to hear my name. i was even more surprised because she called me for having an appointment to pick up antibiotics. i didn't need any, so i just went up to her and told her she must have gotten my appointment wrong, and she goes "oh no, don't worry. that's what we have to say to cover up the fact that you've given up your baby."
say what????????????
at this point, the dream me is like "ooooh ok, THANKS!" while the real me, the one's that's dreaming all this like WTFMATEICAN'THAVEANADOPTIONIWASNEVERPREGGERS! but apparently that really didn't matter in the dream. the lady looked at me and asked how it was. the funny part was that i had c-section scars across the stomach; it wasn't like how it should've been, with the scar running across around my stomach instead of under the naval... this means i had an abortion, not giving up for adoption... but whatever. the lady asked whether it was painful, sad, etc.. and i gave this really cynical look and told her "it left me emotionally scarred forever."
wow.
then the lady proceeded to show me this.. weird visual on the computer screen of a car driving around all over the place- the beach, the suburbs, towns, and then into the crevices of the mountains... and she looked at me again and said "do you know what a person who's been trapped in one place would say after being finally let go??" i wasn't sure what to say, then she continued on to say "he said 'i want to taste dallas, texas.' he's been at one place for such a long time he wants to experience things with everything he's got."
theeeeeen, i woke up.
it was the most weird dream i've had in ages.. or that i could remember...
personally, i don't think texas would taste very good....
