the skate club woke me up this morning with "drop it like it's hot"
what a way to wake up.
but then again i woke up to the sound of "uncle fucker" playing on my ipod alarm yesterday.
that was probably the most awkward thing to wake up to.

i'm learning to not to get my hopes up for anything anymore. it's just.. so exhausting for things to happen when you know for sure it's not.. the only reason you wait around is because of that scared, little voice in the back of your mind giving you second doubts.

i'm not saying i'm giving up, because i'm.. not, but it's just hard to go on with lame things wrapped around my ankles and keeping me back from what i could have. maybe i'm just trying to lighten the load a little..
