i love how the anticipation of rain makes me nostalgic for something i don't quite know.

i'm glad the sweltering heat of the last few days have finally dissipated into the just barely cool breeze, but at the same time i'm getting just a little impatient for the drip drop of rain.

it's kinda funny though; for me rain always, always means summers, no matter where i am. it's probably ingrained into my brain to associate any precipitation to the crazy monsoons in korean where i've spent many summer breaks, and where my childhood still lingers.

i have terrible memory, so i can't say i remember all of my time in korea. however, if anything is constant, it's rain during summer....

i can't wait.
