yeah, i ended up buying them :D

anyhooo.

let's see.. went to fashion district with steph and jun to look for some cheap fabics ftw. i ended up spending less than $10 for 3 yards of yellow for my taikoubou cosplay, and 2 yards of cerulean for ruby's haruhi skirt.. i have projects to work on!

granted, i underestimated the difficulty of the skirt.. the patterns are way smaller so i need to readjust the size of the skirt components and visually understand the direction since it's all in japanese.. thanks nonetheless, jun-chan!

then the three of us trekked to little tokyo for some awesome karaoke.. spent 2 hours going through all kinds of anime and jpop songs. it was double awesome cus i realized i can read enough hiragana to sing along without the aid of koreanized pronunciation! huzzah!!

started making ruby's costume.. all i have so far is the headband which doesn't look half bad anyways. i should at least cut out all the components tomorrow and figure out how to put them together.

why didn't i take fashion classes when i had the chance damnit? and why isn't the fashion student doing her own job and making me do all the work? *breathes fire*
