i think that accurately describes anime expo. i mean, where else do you find bunch of people pretending to be fictional characters in cartoons. ah.. crazy people.. and i'm one of them...

haha, whatever. i got a zelda piano medley book and that made my day. now i can play bunch of memorable songs from the first game up to wind waker. oh geekery.
there was also one for kingdom hearts 2 but it doesn't have axel's theme.. which was a big factor in my decision not to buy it. now that i think about it, i didn't buy a lot of stuff this year.. maybe i was so turned off by the last minute changes i had to make for the tickets. my dilemma was this:
i was already late in reserving tickets for myself and my sister cus i'm dumb like that and i didn't know what my schedule was gonna be for the summer anyways. but in the end, i got tickets for 2 on the weekend of 7/4, thinking that it would be the most convenient for my sister and i... but on wednesday, the night before the whole event starts, my mother calls me to tell me that my sister cannot go due to choir practice..

WHAT.THE.FUCK.

gross. i ended up calling the office, and finding out that they were not in service after 5, so i emailed them. never got the reply, so i just drove up home. called again only to get the machine again.. UGH. and the sister was being pissy pants all morning to start with. baah.. so i figured i could argue with the authorities at the event itself. my mother, who was getting worried cus of how it'll turn out, asked what i was gonna do.. to this i replied:

"well, if i can't get them to change the ticket dates, i'll make them or i'll just kill them all"

"ok, i'm expecting you to keep your word and carry that out."

"...what???"

oh mother.. i guess my violent nature has finally gotten to her too. hahah...
but yeah, in the end, i did go to AX without much prep, and had to go through the ghettos of LA cus benett got lost.. and through 3 different people just to get the tickets. at least we didn't have to wait in ridiculously long lines this time..

the con itself so far was kinda boring. nothing too exciting except i met steph's friends. it was kinda cool to meet the guy who used to draw for the guardian. got to eat ramen after such a long time after it was all over.

now i'm just tire.
but i need to stop ending my entries like this.
i'll be doing ranko cosplay later this weekend. hopefully i don't look too silly.
