it's hot.

and i'm not kidding.
it's 9pm, and it's still 90 degrees. around the neighborhood is around 100 degrees.. it's... kinda stifling. i have a heat induced headache as i sit here. now that i think about it, i get a headache if something as little as my mood and temperature is out of whack. but then again, steph and i did just walk around in the sun for a while without adequate cooling or hydration. blarggh.

hanging out with steph had be fun though. it's been awhile. however, i always do wonder if i'm going to get replaced by her irvine/on-line friends. but, aren't i replacing all my high school friends with my taiko friends as i write this????

we're going to be cosplaying! i need a wig.. or some hair extensions.

got mario kart for wii. been playing way too much brawl. thumbs are hurting at random points in time.

i was supposed to have returned to sd tonight. well, that was plan from the beginning, but i'm still here, in diamond bar. not even packed, not even worried. just calming sitting here sweating and watching the dodgers game. what am i hoping for right now? shouldn't i be in SD congratulating my friends for graduating, getting that bar date with ayano like we promised, and hanging out with them? why aren't i there?

maybe.. for once i want to pretend they don't exist.. and that when i do go back, i'd see them like nothing has changed... but the cold truth is that once i get there, those i've seen for years will now be gone, and my life will be reduced to mundane and repetitive days filled with perfunctory tasks.. perhaps, i already know of this and is avoiding SD on purpose.. either way, i'm wondering if i am saddned by the fact that i didn't get to hang out with the seniors with more vigor than i had promised... or i am just going through the denial stage of parting.

hot.hot.hot..

Man, commencements are boring. Unless the speaker is like Stephen Colbert. I technically graduated '07, remember? And so i sat through my fair share of them when all my friends graduated. And really. They're boring. So. Boring.
