time warp...

man, why does one event permanently fuck up my perception of time?

i skipped out on friday's lecture, which would be today, to come home yesterday. it was also because benett's film got into calart producer's show for the second year, he invited me to come and watch. the downside of all of this was that the event was held in NoHo. well, i figure it wouldn't be so bad, since noho is still in LA.. and sd to la is about, what, 2 hours? oh ho ho, gross miscalculation of traffic.. there was an accident around carlsbad to camp pendleton and i was stuck in the general area for an hour.. so i ended up driving for about 3 hours straight. i was 30 minutes late and had to run into the show.. but i did see tons of really great show animation films.. some of these guys are hilarious geniuses.. i'll post some good ones that i can find later. the dudes were being very reluctant on posting their videos until after the show..

but yean, my legs were so numb from the drive.. i even had to drive back from noho back home around midnight.. i was burning serious rubbers...
