건배.

with the short and surprising rain storm comes lackadaisical days.

who knew that the descent of water drops from the sky could cause such.. schmaltzy feelings? (such a funny word!!) and aching... perhaps it the oncoming of age. the body is beginning to feel the drop in barometric pressure a la the desire the stay in bed and not move, and today's knee pain. great thing about the rain was the reason to listen to all my sappy romantic/emo songs in bed... i'm sure everyone is feeling it lately. the gloomy weather probably elevate the depression and blues in everyone, including me. granted, mine is of milder level i'm sure.

today was pretty crazy to say the least.
it started with brother calling to ask if the family could come down on sunday. as much as i'd love to have them here for the day (for once!) i have a review session i wish to attend.. and the family was quick to forgo the idea. much sadness there.
construction was headed in mandeville. winny and rica made an effort to show which i was glad for. mitch brought yuki, which was a treat since i haven't seen that dog in ages... it was fun playing around with him for awhile. the drum's looking pretty well despite some problems we ran into.
today was also kelli's birthday.
happy birthday kelli :D
the dinner was held at tajima. after some driving mishaps, the group made it there to eat lovely food, and have fun convos. then it was to my house for the after party.
not much to really write since people who were there all know what went on, and people who missed it didn't really miss... THAT much.

all i can say is that i'm glad i have more fun as a hostess rather than a clumsy and emotional drunk.

though, now that everyone's gone (it's only been minutes and i'm already feeling the decline of euphoria... well, duh.. i was having other thoughts every time my mind wasn't occupied. *sigh* i need to get rid of any of these.. hopeful thoughts.

anyways, i am needed earlier than usual tomorrow. i am to rest.

adieu.

hope, hoping, hopeful..
